Deepak’s Four Questions (Think About This)

Earlier this month, Deepak Chopra appeared as a featured guest on our virtual seminar, The Evolutionary Worldview. Speaking with EnlightenNext founder Andrew Cohen about what it takes to be a true evolutionary leader, Chopra challenged our thousands of listeners from around the world to answer four questions about their visions for the future:

1. What kind of world do you want to live in and what kind of world do you want your children and grandchildren to live in?

2. What is your role in bringing this about?

3. Regarding the organizations that you’re part of, what kind of team do you want to have and what kind of relationship do you want to have with this team?

4. What do you see as the primary need in our current cultural moment?

If you haven’t already done so, we invite you to answer these questions yourself and post them in the comments section below for the world to see. As an extra incentive, we’re giving a free premier registration for our upcoming virtual course, The Evolutionary’s Guide to Changing the World, to the person who best captures the spirit of the evolutionary worldview in their answers!

Click below to listen to Deepak’s four questions and then submit your answers in the “Leave a Comment” field at the end of this post.

    Submitting thoughts to query 4:

I believe if humanity is to continue on the planet, there’s a great need to raise collective consciousness to the point where most inhabitants of our spaceship must come to an understanding that the Perennial Wisdom’s tenets become a collective mindset which means a respect and concern for personal mental and physical health, caring of interpersonal rellationships, regard and care for the environment including all sentient creatures and a caring and concern for all Creation. It’s a tall order but I see this as not a pie-in-the-sky wishfulness but as something that humanity must come to see as a priority in fostering peaceableness and respect for our fellow beings. With nuclear WMDs and terrorists real threats to the planet, I see that settling differences over conference tables rather than with war is crucial to humanity’s very survival. Work to create the world you would want for you and yours to inhabit.

      My comment:

All Mammal Species of the World, who are not domesticated, are only living in certain habitats and can be counted in numbers of thousand (three zeros). The Species Homo Sapiens Sapiens is living everywhere on the planet, due to his abiliity to think, and can be counted in numbers of billions (nine zeros). His number should be reduced from 7,000,000,000 to 7,000,000. Remember this: areas which are occupied by men were once taken from the plants and animals originally living there.

Because men, purely due to his mere existence, needs land to live on, he destroyed (and still destroyes) the original natural forests and made life impossible for many plants and animals. He is still doing this and today with an acceleration beyond any imagination due to an exponential population growth. The habitats of many plants and animals are in serious danger or already vanished from planet earth. The cause is simple: to many people. The solution? Also very simple: Read The World Solution for World Problems at http://www.socsci.ru.nl/~advdv/leonbook/leonbook.html. Especially read the chapter A Concept for Government.

    3.
    i am a player/coach on Team Earth.
    4.
i see an outbreak of enlightenment coming over the next 20-40 years. i expect that “enlightenment” will become a universally experienced state of mind for the vast majority of Earthlings. my commitment is to raising the next two generations of children to be less brain-damaged by the language and thinking of the old culture than previous generations have been. if we don’t handicap them, they will emerge as enlightened beings and create a new world worthy of the word “civilization”. it’s a great time to be alive.

  7. Tom Fuller says:

    1. What kind of world do you want to live in and what kind of world do you want your children and grandchildren to live in?
I want to live in a world where we are in attunement with the natural environment-where we’ve learned how to live within the carrying capacity of the ecology. I want to live in a world where men and women know their own power and ways to healing and are able to relate to each other joyfully, as equals, as awake co-creators of the world. I want to live in a world where there are just economic relations between all people of the world and where “isms and schisms” are disappearing. Where people express their creative selves through art, music and play of all kinds. I want all children to be cared for and looked to for understanding of God’s unfolding charter.
I want this more deeply for my children and grandkids.

    2. What is your role in bringing this about?
To continue with my own awakening as a priority and to support the awakening of others-starting with my wife and children. To support the ways this awakening transforms relationships of all kinds, and culture.

    3. Regarding the organizations that you’re part of, what kind of team do you want to have and what kind of relationship do you want to have with this team?
I want to be with others who are humble in their recognition of the mystery unfolding within and between us; that have skill at supporting others in moving through the earth/cultural/political/economic transformations that are happening; that have understanding and compassion for those “less awake” or less skillful in their approaches to life-we live beyond polarization in actualizing unity consciousness.

    4.

vision: I want us all to live in a world where we generously share our gifts, where we all play together to weave this diverse tapestry of gifts and challenges to create a more extraordinary world. We each understand that it is our sacred destiny to be fully ourselves and share our unique adventure with the world, playing both generous performer and appreciative audience on the world stage.

role: I will create a social change game to help mobilize individuals and groups to play their way to fully expressing their inner and outer extraordinary powers to create an extraordinary future!

team: I would like to build a team of extraordinary creative and committed social change artists who all bring very different gifts than mine, together we can collaborate to create a more extraordinary world. I see myself as team member and co-leader of an inspired shared vision.

the big need: We need super powers of critical thinking and collaboration…. We haven’t been raised up to know how to collaborate, we go to school and sit at boxy desks and keep our eyes straight ahead and passively listen to the teacher. We aren’t taught to first look within and then look to collaborate with our peers to co-create an extraordinary world. We have the power!

  10. 1)A perfect world. One inhabited by fully conscious beings. Our God-nature realized, we humans nourishing and creating life through our complete alignment to life. Humans as Artists – creating life as if painting canvases, infinitely varied, colorful and in total atunement with an ever-evolving understanding of life. Background on my canvas: clean air, clear water, and animals and wild places aplenty.

2)I teach movement. How to be a soul embodied. As far as we know, the soul can progress no place else but in these bodies. My life’s work is the learning and the teaching of how to live in this vehicle. Through accord with the body we may learn a harmony that is part of the enlightened state of being.

    3)CREATIVE.

    4) A integral world view. A view beyond polarization. It’s the only way out and up.

  13. Pablo Morano says:

    1) A world where people understand and act that they shape it with everythought and create it with every action. Where people can be able to see that everyone who lived, lives and will live on the planet actually is part of the whole system.

    2) I search, think, act and inspire. I see my role as an enabler of things, opening views, provocking a new worldview and helping shape the system of the future from inside out.

    3) I would like to have a team that can see the world as a whole, yet knowing how to make use of their skills and knowledge to fulfill their purpose and the one of the whole system. I want to be able to inspire them all, to help them see how they can contribute, aligning their passion with the world and keep evolving together. I want to be a reflection of their hopes, and be in a place where I can help them become more complete as human beings at the same time they do so with others.

    4) I see there is a strong need for a spiritual connection, for re-understanding the “cliché” that we are spirits leaving in a human experience to the sense that we can balance our experience as physical being with it. It is a need to create a culture of consciousness beyond just one self and the need to understand and act like there are more around us, and each has a space in this world.

  14. Regina says:

I want to live in a world free of hate and fear. I want to live in a world where everyone is comfortable and has enough, even more then enough. A world where dignity and integrity for our environment and life is an everyday good habit. An environment that creates self-motivation and sharing of ideas, and things.

I just don’t know how this can be achieved.

  15. Trevor Vowles says:

    1. A world that is completely connected. Connected to each other, connected to the Earth, connected to the Universe.
    2. My role here is to be aware of my own connectedness. To observe those times when I am less connected. To simply remember all that I already know.
    3. A team that is tolerant and patient. Each member vigilant with their own evolution. The willingness to share perspectives with acceptance of others reality.
My relationship with this team is to remain open.
    4. Our culture at the moment contains a lack of acceptance. A lack of acceptance of ourselves as we are in this moment. It seems, we are obsessed with being different to how we are right now. Whether it is striving for a new car, better relationship, or even enlightenment.

  16. Heidi says:

There is a world already evolving that we can be a part of if we are awake to the consciousness of Oneness that is present in it’s formation. The requirement to live in Onenes is to be open willing and flowing with the energy of life. That means not seperating from it, but unifying with it. It takes courage to be apart of such a dynamic world, to be alive and listening to it, to respond to the world moment to moment in this dynamic flow. That is what I see as my wish for humanity. My gift is an illustrated book and story to assist the collective to move through its frozen state of fear, seperating itself from the consciousness of ONENESS.

  17. Cheryl says:

I want nothing bothering us.. to take responsibility for what we bring to this life and commit to peace

I am the mother of an evolved child, his wisdom far beyond his possible years… yet I learned that negative aroused emotion is not only a hindrance to his wellbeing but everyone’s. I learned presence, meditation, surrendered and welcomed it all. Only once he knew he was safe did my son reveal the spiritual intelligence he had to share with us all.

When I asked my son about a possible person to be a part of this team, he laughed and thought only Jesus would the perfect match for Mom. Yet we both laughed knowing he’s already here.

We are collaborating about all the ways we can have more gentle places for us to go on this planet, yet first realizing that getting high in connection is what he will have to honor and choose to resist other forms arriving as he grows his physical being.

  18. Prerena says:

    – The ideal picturesque world to live in would be where peace pierces anger, love conquers fear, hope defeats despair, wisdom replaces ignorance, forgiveness relieves suffering, abundance cancels lack, grace absolves judgment, and serenity quiets unrest.

    – In Mahatma Gandhi’s language, “Be the change, you wish to see in the world” and if we, all, were to listen to our fears, we would die never knowing what great personalities we might have been and what we could have accomplished as a race.

    – Team of like minded people, where we can see a mistake just as a mistake…..not “MY” or “HIS” mistake…”MY” brings guilt, “HIS” brings anger….Only ‘mistake’ brings real solution and possible improvement and growth in a positive/healthy environment….

    – We say we love flowers, yet we pluck them. We say we love trees, yet we cut them down. And people still wonder why some are afraid when told they are loved. Teach yourself to appreciate what you have, before TIME forces you to appreciate what the Earth once HAD!!!

  21. Deborah Gibbons says:

    1) The answer is easy, simple, real, truthful, all-encompassing, all around us, for all of us and for-ever.
    .
    The answer is all about
    our Love
    of the trees,
    our passion
    for their gift of life!
    .
We grow in our huge extended families together, we learn our lessons from the nature of the trees. The trees form our world for us, taking care of us, guiding us in rough weather and leave it up to us to watch over them creating that long life for them, on this sacred Earth.

    2) My role is to help teach how the trees will provide for us, everything we need. Everything? Yes, above everything else, the trees give us O2 (oxygen) for our blood, for our breath, for our hearts and to share that love. When we are grateful for this ultimate gift, we acknowledge that to the trees and spiritually create that happening for when the trees, themselves recognize our tasks, well done.
Yes, we have learned together we can become or experience the impulse to evolve by watching, listening and interacting with the trees true message. “We need to work together”. One practical plan creates a way to save our trees and show their precious value by assigning a legal term called, “an allowance” to protect the trees from excessive profits and exploitation.

If we learn the language of the trees, we will experience more benefit for all. Our language conveys the meaning with verbs, action, what we can do together, all around the world. Actions words, what we do together, interconnect with nature and our love of the spirit world.

  22. Deborah Gibbons says:

    3) The organization I want to help expand is called
‘Whats Your Tree’. We not only love our trees, we work with passion and purpose to help teach our friends and neighbors and communities to explore and express their best so they can share from their hearts, their dream. We plan and organize and teach about life from the perspective of the trees, living in the forest, together. I was originally motivated by the beautiful work of Julia Butterfly Hill. And, I am grateful for my healings, new friends online and the many audios from the Enlightenment series. I especially identify with Sacred Activism.

For our organization and to the trees, we think if we all protect and support each other, we can be strong together for Mother Earth and for our causes.
    .
For the trees, for our breath and being
our primary need is to live beyond . . .
    beyond life, beyond all
    and for all
    .

    4) Culturally, for we and we the trees, we need each other every day. We never hurt each other or destroy each other’s heart (wood) for money. Once again, we present ourselves – to lean on each other, to succeed and to fail together, to get beyond any obstacle, and experience growing together with common desire to survive.

When we have that symbiotic relationship as nature, our Mother Earth teaches, we survive to share the beauty from within our hearts and from our true spiritual sense.

  23. Steve says:

    1. A world where individuals are driven by the impulse to contribute to greater levels of harmony and unity between others and the environment.

    2. My primary role is to bring this change about within myself – to consciously transform my thoughts and emotions to be aligned with harmony and unity towards all others and the environment.
Then my outer behaviour will be a reflection of this inner alignment, hence bringing greater harmony and unity within my sphere of influence in others and the environment around me. Then those others that are influenced by me will also bring this influence into their own personal world spheres and so the ripple effect spreads.

    3. I would like the teams I work with to also be driven by this impulse to contribute to this greater good. I would like relationships with this team to be based on a dynamic of humility, humour, compassion and courage to stay true to this impulse.

    4. Our primary need for humanity is for those of us in the privileged position of having a life that exceeds our basic needs to awaken to conscious living: the ability to consciously choose thoughts and actions aligned with harmony and unity in the face of our automatic and conditioned habits and reactions.

  24. Rosemarie says:

A world of Stillness…of beauty…of Divine Consciousness where each is able to say: I bow to the Divinity within you. Where harmony reigns among all creatures and respect and love. Where nations are not spending trillions on war, but where all have the necessities of housing, food, health, education etc..Where new visions have embodied a new era of inventions that resonate music not noise of our present technological world. Where all are aware we are a planetary family looking out to a universe that is filled with marvels and calls us forward to wisdom and noetic insights.
My role is the destiny I have been given. Called to life of prayer and contemplation and joining at the deepest level of creative energies to help bring about the transformation which Christ bids us move toward.
I hope to be part of the team of all human beings awake to their spiritual destiny to preserve and care for the Earth and bring it to evolutionary fulfillment.
Primary need of the moment is to realize this. Rethink our present world order, deepen our awareness of the Holy… of Higher Consciousness…of the Creator… and be open to a new way of seeing… of being… of thinking…of living…

  25. John says:

    1. One world; a world based upon mutual understanding and tolerance, that caters for the needs of our unique home and of the diversified whole rather than the polarised few. A world in which humanity grasps the nature of its role and responsibilities through a greater sense of universal conciousness. A world in which we see who we really are, and our place in the picture as a whole.

    2. My role is to prepare the path for those who follow through a greater understanding and application of my unique potential; to open the eyes of those who have restricted vision, and to infuse a sense of individual responsibility concerning our acts in the context of personal, local and global issues and environments.

    3. A mutually supportive and stimulating environment formed by like minded, motivated individuals who strive to further our understanding of both our nature and potential. A body of thought, communication and dialogue that is not afraid to confront the otherwise immovable legacies of cultural and historical dogma. A movement that is capable of surpassing the limitations of the restricted world-views.

    4. Identification – who are we,
Situation – where are we in the universal context of our existence, where are we going as a whole, and what are our options,
    Communication – dialogue and propositions,
    Evolution, or… extinction.

  26. Tanni Koens says:

1.the world that I want to leave to my children and grandchildren, is beautiful, because Love ( the real unconditional Love)is the overall value and emotion. Every person is acting out of love and is helping the people who are learning to act and live out of love.
    2. My role is to be an example of this world, to act out of love, and because I am still learning,to do this, I still have some work to do. But I initiate meetings and I try to create a possibility sphere for this world wherever I am, and whatever I do.
    3. The people I want around me, are people with an open mind who like to be in a world with Love, and are willing to contribute to that world. As far as people are not ready to open up to this I create the possibility sphere where that may happen. I don’t judge them.
    4. We need to see how our Ego is leading our live and learn to stop our Ego to react on all what’s going on, we need awareness and a non judging culture.

  27. 1- I see a world where people remember their deep inner connections to each other, and to the world around them; a world where human beings have awakened to their own authentic power and consciously co-create together, governed from within only by Love. I see a world healed and in balance.

2- Currently, I write for the Children of the Sun Foundation, setting the focus for twice monthly world wide meditations of collective unified intent. I also designed and manage the Planetary Event Alert system on the GAIA Federation which sends messages out to leaders of similar organizations in the event of earth disasters. The messages call for unified collective positive focus of intention for the greater good, and action where practical. Please note that these organizations are not “mine”. They were founded by another, and they are run by excellent teams. I also hold weekly workshops locally (which I do not charge for) on the power of meditative intent, and run a weekly world wide meditation group (Global Circles).

3- Our teams operate by opening to Divine guidance, and acting according to this inner flow. As we live and act yielded to this inner flow, there is a synchronicity and accord. Everyone is of equal importance and we value the diversity we embody. Each one contributes something unique and essential, and each individual is empowered to create without fear.

4-I see as the primary need of our current cultural moment to move collectively beyond the restrictions of fear. Hatred is not the opposite of love- FEAR is. We are limited in what we can create ONLY by our own imaginations and what we believe to be impossible. When we stand in the light of the Love of which we are made, all things are possible and fear simply has no place.

Hi Hannah, re: “Currently, I write for the Children of the Sun Foundation, setting the focus for twice monthly world wide meditations of collective unified intent.”

I’m so pleased to run across your post re: the monthly meditations of Children of the Sun. I’ve been talking about a universal event like that but I’m very glad to hear of your group’s organized effort. I looked at your online site but didn’t see any scheduling of those events. Can I find out more about those monthly meditations?

Imagine if everyone in the world would sit down together to meditate, that there would be universal peace for the duration of those meditations! If the meditations would be extended and taken to heart, we’d be nearer to universal peace. Wouldn’t it be great? !!

      Namaste, Aloha, regards, Frank Luke

    1) A world in which they would feel at Home which means:

    – A safe house in which wisdom in relationships (between humans to humans, between humans with all species) prevails on greed, rapacity; a safe house in which the human race freedom and sovereignty prevails on the self-serving interests of others predatory races in the physical universe.
    – A place where they are reminded and given freedom to be, express and ever become what they truly are: a spiritual being (or a stream of Consciousness) with mind and body as servants, not conditioned and restless masters.

-A place where Heaven and Earth touches from the inside out

    2) What is your role in bringing this about?

    - My role is to reach that place where this question is no more, where there will be no questioning but only a stream of Presence intimately connected with Action. For that, my responsibility is to keep my instruments clean, fit and to enter a true and pure spiritual preparation, so that, That is sacred and beyond this world and That comes to serve this world will find a willing and purified recipients for Its expressions in the world.

    - My role also is to share this vision with whoever is willing to listen, so that we all awake to our promises for coming into the world at these times and march together towards their fulfilment.

    3) What kind of team do you want to have? A team in which purity of motive the foundation, ever harmony from the inside out and selfless contribution are the stars to be reached and natural hierarchy is the ladder.
What kind of relationship do you want to have with this team? Love at the beginning, Love in the middle and Love at the end.

    4) What do you see as the primary need in our current cultural moment? To be awake to the realities of a populated physical universe which has the same predicaments than the world. http://www.alliesofhumanity.org/
Evolution must happen and Freedom is the key.

I want to live in this “work in progress” that is our world and I hope for my children and grandchildren that this evoluting progress will go on and on so that a real change will happen and they don’t need to fear anything .

I have to BE what I am

If I am what I am , I become the right team to work within , so I think the first things to learn are : thankfullness, respect of myself and the others , respect of life as o whole of this wonderful movement of life in everything

Most of people are not yet feeling connected with the others , with the outer world , even and particularly intelligent , intellectual human beings don’t feel it , see only nonsense in the actual situation and that is for US a very big challenge !!

    2. The role I play is to think, speak and behave as often as possible that we are one with the creator.
3.A team that works as a team to bring about the highest good for all.
4.We need acceptance, acceptance side by side with love and forgiveness. It is all the same to me. Acceptance that we are one with our creator and each other.

  33. Angelika Ouellette says:

A world open and awake to the innate stream of consciousness within all beings that is pressing its emergence into time and space, evolving beyond what is known.

My role in bringing this about is to transend those aspects that shadow the clairity of that consciousness within myself, and explore new responses.

The kind of team I want has the capacity to express with an integral perspective what is needed to fully explore both Eros and Agape, and to bring about action and response capable of deepening and widening what it means to be human.

There is a great need to create dialogue within all cultures enabling the awareness of this consciousness at all stages.

  34. Gail Wiseman Reed says:

    1. A world filled with nature and close interface with nature. A world where everyone has enough and everyone cares for, deeply respects and looks after one another; where rich creative expression, possibility, learning and love are nurtured in all.

    2. Right now it is to learn to sit quietly . . . listening and open to grace and in heart in the trying times. To awaken afresh each morning to the wonder and beauty of creation and, if not there, to open my heart and eyes through poetry, teachings, spiritual inspiration of others. To wander, stay with the people, and bring back visions of another way of living and seeing from countries like Cuba, Nicaragua,Chile.

    3. One that respects and considers the gifts of all within it and empowers each to give from these to the larger whole and the world around; to be a conduit for engendering this respect and empowerment.

    4. To open to our deep oneness, wonder and connectedness with nature and all life; to realize together our creative possibilities and shared entelechy within this. To practice loving kindness for ourselves and others by residing always in this being.

  35. Richard Wing says:

    1. I want to live in a world in which each person takes personal responsibility for contributing as generously as possible to an expanding heartfelt brilliance of love, appreciation, gratitude, and joy. It would be a great joy for me if my children and grandchildren could inherit such an enlightened and compassionate world.

    2. I teach Heart Coherent Tai Chi Kung, a practice of balanced, circular weight shifts, waist turns, and meaningful gestures, coordinated with breath to project intentional heartfelt love, appreciation, gratitude, and joy. Each “manifestation of divinity” in these classes projects the best version of those heart emotions he or she can evoke.

    3. It is one of my greatest pleasures to serve as teacher and leader for this practice, and as part of the Whole created by this shared radiance of intentional love. Each of us contributes to a “Whole greater than the sum of its parts”, generating waves of inspiration into our shared field and into the field of the world community.

    4. It seems to me that the primary need in our current cultural moment is expanded inspiration of ego-free heartfelt compassion for all, valuing the treasures we share in our generous garden planet and our ability to manifest and generate Divine creativity. I am convinced that if even a small percentage of us do that on a regular basis, seeing our trials as lessons bearing blessings to share, we can bring about personal and collective evolutionary transformation.

  36. Billy Meyer says:

    1. I would like to live in a world, where the inhabitants are aware of the fact and embrace this as feeling, that we are all connected and that if we as individuals think and do, and do not think and do not act, that we can all feel the consequences.

    2. To sensualize my heart(body) and mind for this fact and to be concious about it in all my relation-ships, and I mean in all, wether I interact with a person, I project onto a person or I think about a person.

    3. As selfemployed coach/writer I try to maintain this kind of awarness with all the aspects, acted out by my inner personalities.

    4. Respect and attention for the history and the background (biography) of all individuals and for their individual “levels” of inner dispute with them.

    Thank you for your attention.

  37. Aliya says:

The world we want to live in is in fact the world we live in Now in this very moment. No Future World is possible unless the Present World Now and Here is fully lived and enjoyed, savored and cherished. We cannot expect that our future will be beautiful and valuable unless the present is made beautiful and valuable.
The way we usually plan and desire for the future is the way of the mind – a simple projection of our past onto the future. Usually we desire the future to be an improved version of our past, a screen for our endless mind desires to display on. And of course such a future is an illusory one, our own mind ephemeral creation. But mind likes to plan, not to live, to project itself, to control everything, even the future. And it is bound to be so, because mind is not even able to be in the only reality – the present one?
The only way for each one of us, not “the primary need”, but the only possibility for us is to be Now and Here, in the present and only reality. If each human being lives this present moment totally, wholeheartedly and authentically, only then the future moment is bound to come as beautiful and blissful as this present moment. Future cannot be lived unless Present is lived totally.

    1. In a United States of Earth: http://homepage.mac.com/eliw/index/timeline.htm

    2. Just trying to spread the vision with my website: http://www.earthpledge.net

    3. I want a team that gives me the resources I need to take this vision to a higher level of actualization.

    4. Working for alternative energy.

    • Your answer to the first question was: In a United States of Earth.

      My comment is:

This would be wonderful, however, it will only work with one language, one currency and one government like in the United States of America today. Our planet already has a fairly universal language. This global language seems to exist in English, as it is by far the most commonly spoken second language in the world. A world currency seems presently to fall under the auspices of the U.S. dollar. Most astute people throughout the world seem to place the most trust in the U.S. dollar. Finally, we have to look to a planetary government. If we look to the United Nations Assembly as an obvious candidate we will be disappointed. The United Nations simply reflects the past, the way in which the planet has organized itself for far too long, that is in independent states. Looking at the inner workings of the United Nations we see it made up of self centered individuals so absorbed with self that they are barely conscious of the nations they represent. These individuals apparently follow the path of least resistance. Simply, they do whatever the majority of the pack does. It is an infallible way to protect their own jobs and guarantee their financial security. Our world deserves and demands a new type of World Government. One venerable suggestion is Mondale Lottocracy. This form of government guarantees a true representation of the people. Self-interest is meticulously excluded. The sense of global awareness and togetherness projected by a global lottocracy insures a true representation of people. This form of government would magnify the inter-connectedness and interdependence of all peoples of the earth

For Mondale Lottocracy go to: http://www.socsci.ru.nl/~advdv/lottocracy.html

  39. Rasiko says:

1-A world of consciousness, love, compassion, beauty, joy, celebration, health, wealth, silence and freedom… the essence of us all.

2-My role is to recognize my obvious truth and live it.

3-A team with people who has decided to awake to their truth above all in a kind of relationship where the ego is no more. So, each one is responsible for their own life and everybody is responsible for everyone and everything.

4-Awakening. Now! This will reflect the amazing future that this beautiful planet deserves.

  40. Diane says:

    1. A world where the first question asked is; How may i serve?
    2. Asking myself this question every morning: How may i serve?
    3. Team Human; a relationship of LOVE and PEACE and HOPE for every single Human on this beautiful Earth.
    4. Love for every Human

  41. James Throneburg says:

    1. A world where everyone is a conscious co-creator of and 100% personally and consciously responsible for their experience of their enviironment
    2. My role is to demonstrarte this consciousness in my daily life and work
    3. I am a consciuosly aware Leader in a team of consciously aware Leaders serving the Whole community including it’s loyal consumers, loyal employees, loyal stakeholders, loyal shareholders and in this order of priorities
    4. Our primary need is a new economic model demonstrating the principles of an integrated
living dynamic “organism”, as opposed to a static institutionalized organization, that is BOTH sustainable AND growing.

  42. “What kind of world do you want to live in and what kind of world do you want your children and grandchildren to live in?”

I agree with a previous comment that replied “The Garden of Eden”, though that needs to be made more specific, which would be: veganic homestead communities that are self/community-sufficient and sustainable. This is not possible with the current socioeconomic system that forcibly disconnects most people from the Earth (via monetary dependency) through unjust land ownership and taxation, therefore both should be rejected. The lies about the necessity of animal products for optimum human health, along with the supposed benefits of GMO seeds/foods also need to be rejected if we are to live truly healthy, natural, sustainable and principled (nonviolence/compassion) lives. Also sovereign homesteads eliminated the problem of hierarchy and false authority that exist even in intentional communities and ecovillages; this model solves many social, environmental, ethical and personal problems simultaneously.

Talking about “raising consciousness” and “awakening to the impulse to evolve” is great, but we need to support what that actually translates to in the real world, what will actually bring us closer to Paradise.

  43. After having raised three children and seeing the results in my grandchildren, I suddenly realized one day that one of the worst things in the world we can do is “want.” Our children have grown up with “wanting,” and we try to give them everything they want with horrific results. When there is a transformation of your life, there will be intelligence that acts void of “want.” Want can only “want.”

  44. Regarding the second question:

I, personally, am involved with bringing about a new consciousness on this earth which is void of violence. It is violence that is destroying the planet. I have edited and published a book by Edward Jones titled, “A New Counsciousness Born – You are the Source.”

  45. Regarding the third question:

I am part of a team that is working toward bringing fort a new consciousness. We speak frequently via http://www.paltalk.com, almost nightly, about ourselves and the manner in which speaking truth can bring forth openenss.

  46. Regarding the fourth question:

The primary need in our culture is an individual transformation which will end the millions-of-year’s old consciousness and bring a new one, violence free.

  47. 1 – What kind of world do you want to live in and what kind of world do you want your children and grandchildren to live in?

I’m going to let Wendell Berry’s words speak for me here

If we will have the wisdom to survive,
to stand like slow growing trees
on a ruined place, renewing, enriching it…
then a long time after we are dead
the lives our lives prepare will live
    here, their houses strongly placed
    upon the valley sides…

    The river will run
clear, as we will never know it…
On the steeps where greed and ignorance cut down
the old forest, an old forest will stand,
its rich leaf-fall drifting on its roots.
The veins of forgotten springs will have opened.

Families will be singing in the fields…
    Memory, native to this valley,
will spread over it like a grove,
and memory will grow into legend,
legend into song, song into sacrament.

    The abundance of this place,
the songs of its people and its birds,
will be health and wisdom and indwelling light.

    This is no paradisal dream.
    Its hardship is its reality.

2 – What is your role in bringing this about?

My role is to create The Rincon in Costa Rica – a vibrant, sustainable, evolved model of community that supports human flourishing through a focus on wellness, personal and social development, and connections with nature and the arts.

3 – Regarding the organizations that you’re part of, what kind of team do you want to have and what kind of relationship do you want to have with this team?

My team has diverse perspectives, shared values, complementary skills and a passion for the project.
I am the one who guides and inspires – who arouses the mind and the spirit – who nurtures meaning and purpose

4 – What do you see as the primary need in our current cultural moment?

    A grander perspective

  48. Deepok’s four questions are ones I have been asking myself each and everyday for most of my life. I have spent the past thirty-five years committed to serving as a voice for the voiceless, a helping hand for those in need, a guide seeking a better life, and a “family of choice” for those who find themselves alone in the world. This has manifested itself as working in the nonprofit world among some of our Nation’s most vulnerable people.

I do this for two reasons: first, regardless of what “religion” I have been practicing, the Divine calls us to compassionate service. Second, because I want my children and grandchildren to live in a world that honors and supports life, justice and peace. That allows and empowers them to be all the Divine created them to be.

As I said, I have dedicated my life to this effort. Currently I am the Chief Visionary Officer and Community Steward for a nonprofit I have had the honor of leading for the past decade. (c3initiatives.com) I am working to build alliances and partnerships with others engaged in this work daily.

What we need is more resources – we need people, products and services, and just plain cash. Over the past decade we have helped over six thousand people and generated over $2.7 million dollars to the community for less than $250,000 – we give back ten times for every dollar we recieve!

What I would like to see happen with this current movement is that we begin to work more closely together – as one voice. With the Dept. of Peace, the Global Marshall Plan, the UN Millenium Goals, etc., etc. – we could do so much more if we worked in partnership with a common vision. We need a time for ALL evolutionary thinkers to gather and join hands and voices to finish giving birth to our new world!

  49. Ian says:

    1. I want to live in a world full of joy and peace and I find joy and peace in the world I currently live in.

    2. I need to take a more active role in sharing my joy and peace with everyone around me.

    3. I want to have a team that enjoys what they are doing and enjoys helping each other to accomplish our goals. I want to be an integral part of the team as should every person be.

    4. I believe we all need to respect each other for what we believe and feel and not try to force our opinions on others (yes, this includes my opinion here. I am not forcing, just offering).

  50. jhana says:

    To be happy

  51. Mark B says:

    1) We seem to be approaching somewhat of a precipice. Humanity can either wake up and realize the impact we’re having on this planet, other species, and each other, and consciously alter our course; or suffer the consequences and possibly breach a point of no return. Imagine what earth might look like if humans started living up to our higher potentials, not just individually but collectively. This beautiful, miraculous, life-giving planet with enough renewable resources to sustain all the beings that inhabit it quite comfortably, if we could just find the right balance. Everything we need know to actualize this, all the lessons, all the wisdom, all the technology, already exist in some form. It is time to integrate them and evolve as a species, and return to the metaphorical garden to live in cooperation, peace, balance, and abundance.

    2) I am a writer and have been working on a sci-fi comedy novel that attempts to bring some perspective on the current state of humanity and our general lack of transcendence from a more enlightened extraterrestrial point of view. I also intend to use the internet as much as possible to do what I can to help facilitate conscious awakening.

    3) I was a film producer and work very well with teams. I consider myself more of a facilitator and a guide, as opposed to a leader, inspiring people to reach their highhigher potentials and bring multiple perspectives to proactive solutions.

    4) The primary need is to break through fear. Fear is such a powerful controller and has played a dominant role throughout human history, returning forcefully in this country over the past decade with Bush/Cheney and Fox News. We need to explore new ways to break through these limited, conditioned worldviews. Perhaps parody, spoof, humor…? I have faith in us.

  52. Cindee Karns says:

I echo the words of Wendell Berry (thanks Charles) as the future I imagine for my children and grandchildren. My role in bringing forth the dream is starting a Transition Town in my community. http://www.transitionus.org/why-transition

The future is now and I try to live as if the garden of Eden is now. I nurture the relationships I have in my home, in the nature around me, in my neighborhood, and in my town knowing that relationships are the key to a sustainable future. It’s only through honest dialog in which spirit is present that we can look for commonalities instead of opposition and move back into the garden of Eden together.

  53. Elise D'Aquino says:

1.Kind of World: A world where the differences enrich us, unfolding our Beings to unthinkable vastness. A world where we see that everything that is manifested is sacred, because its material and essence is love.
A world where happiness, joy, awe, abundance, gratitude and service are the common ground.
A world where we speak through poetry, where harmony and rhythm determines the forms of our creation, and music is the result.
A world that combines our uniqueness and oneness. A world where we can make this planet joyful in its ride to the unknown.
I want this for all humanity.
2.Role: writing this? Live up to my highest standards, remembering who I am and how I am here?
3.Organizations: I want a team of children! Tons of children…
My relationship with them: as a student, recognizing that they are the new. Also offering conditions for their full blooming.
4.Need: more works like this. Use of Internet to unite people and give them knowledge of simple values. Non profit, non central government, service, volunteer work as government, invest in children.

  54. Renee Vetter says:

What kind of world do I want to live in?
A place where We Are, and a place where We’ve Been.
What will my role be in reaching this goal?
It is meeting the challenge to love every soul.

What kind of team do I want to play on?
In diversity, wild; and in unity, strong.
What do I see as our job of the hour?
For all souls to discover their Heavenly power.

Thank you, Sir Chopra, for taking a stand
and for calling us each to lend only two hands.

1 I wish for the world where the evolutionary worldview is widely accepted and practiced. Its major consequences are weakening of the forces of nationalism and fundamentalism.
    2. easy one : live your life according to the evolutionary worldview, and almost impossible one: trying to convince people to use brain to form the worldview instead of laziness, inertia and fear.
    3. I wish to join the evolutionary movement , find friendly, funny people with the broadest perispective possible.
    4. Stop violence first, think later.

    Tom Voychehovski

I believe that God does not support any violence.
We are all God’s children and he loves all of us the same.
I accept that people can be wicked and we may respond to it with violence, or support others’ violence.
But these would be our own deeds, and we will not claim God’s endorsement of, or expect His help with this violence.

Still there is a sense of loss

And gratitude won’t fill that space
    That sad and restless place.

You must know that in the end
It is loves garden you must tend
Pay it forward, the not so secret secret to changing the world as we know it, show it, grow it, follow it, why don’t you show it to me.

My education as a seeing, listening, receptive creature
    If not for you
My first life long friend in my dreams I will meet ya

Earlier hostilitiy, kinda silly, I know it now cos you showed me how to …..change the world as we know it.

    1. A consciousness of One…respect for all…empowered by truth.

    2. Practice, practice, practice the above

3.Our agency practices the above…we provide regular opportunities for staff development on all levels in order to be healthy role models for those in the community who access our services. We have a Spiritual leader on hand at all times to provide teachings, and offer a myriad of Spiritual practices as needed.
I take part in your services as much as possible to hear
what you have to offer and to hear from the growing world community of people who share their wisdom and
    pathways.

4.To move into the heart. To understand and experience the heart as the true center of intelligence. From the heart’s inner chamber we are connected to the ALL and open to guidance, our authentic self, and the ability to see our face in the face of others.

  59. Scott Kimball says:

    1. A world in balance. A balance of nature and humanity. Humanity balanced in mind, body, and spirit. Much of humanity over the past 100 years has focused on mind because of increases in technology and communication. This has reduced humanity’s focus on body and especially spirit. Without an equitable focus on spirit the issues in the current world cannot be resolved.

    2. Many say the future is in the hands of our children. I disagree with this premise. I’m 45 and the world’s population has doubled since I was born. It is in the hands of people of middle age, since we may live to become very old and potentially “wise” elders, to help guide the younger onto a more spiritual path. Increases in technology and communication are not our enemy, but we as future “wise” elders must stress the importance of balance.

    3. Currently, I’m working on personal spiritual growth. I have been caught in the mind, body, and materialism of my age group in western society. It has only been in the last year that I have understood the importance of spirit. The importance in a balance in mind, body, and spirit. The importance that I give this teaching to my children. At this point I’m only focusing on me and my household. If one day I can do more I will accept the challenge.

    4. Define the current imbalance between mind, body, and spirit. Show the importance of balance between mind, body, and spirit. Show how this balance will help correct the imbalance between nature and humanity. I’m currently working on a paper with these thoughts to give to my children and share with others if called upon.

  60. Estefanie Lozano says:

I appreciate the challenge set for us by Mr. Chopra to answer these questions and thus face our current level of commitment to them.

1º Free from superstition, taboo and preconceived notions. Goal oriented, that embraces diversity in the quest to bring about higher complexity.
2º To be the embodiment of all of the above. To the extent that such energy creates a gravitational force.
3º I want to have a team of smart, fun, responsible people that understand the small scale of their personal story and the huge importance of using ourselves up for the greatest service one can find. I want to lead one of those teams and relate to people without having all my fears (rejection, judgement, failure, loss) standing in the way of a deep human conection.
4º Get past individualism and realizing the world as one process-working organism.

  62. Rosie Coulton says:

    1)What kind of world…
Global conscious evolution ~ those living beyond the personal fight/flight perspective out numbering those who don’t.
Guidance for children in their body, mind, spiritual development. Play to take precedence over facts and figures in their school years. Plenty of play.
Divides between generations and disadvantaged people disappearing.
Community creating, supporting and playing together.
Older members being valued in all areas of life for their wisdom, their support with childcare for instance
and given opportunity for their own continued ‘learning’
    Gentle death experience where possible.
    Inclusion for the lonely.
Sensitive and holistic planning of technology and housing, working with the environment.
Freedom from the dictates of greed in all its forms, provision of food for everyone.
Respect for all living things. Understanding that how we behave will not save the world it will save humanity.
We have a very tolerant earth mother.

    2)What is my role…
My family initially. My brother is schizophrenic. My children were home educated up to the age of 14. I care for my mother who has dementia. I am working part-time for the local care trust looking to improve care and the end of life experience. I love my veggie and flower garden!

    3) The ideal team within my organization….
Unfettered connection within themselves, towards others and the earth.
Wisdom/knowing with humility.Vison, courage, discernment, determination, love of beauty and kindness.
    Compassionate. Lightness of heart.
    My relationship to them…. co-creator.

    4) Primary need in current cultural moment…
To wake up and discover ones place in the world, be steadfast and express practically, the wisdom that lies within the bliss of freedom.

  63. Diane says:

    1. I want a safe world where my grandchildren can continue to grow as the conscious beings they already are. One where they are encouraged and listened to instead of being found wanting. Where they have the freedom to create and explore, to feel secure and loved.

    2. By being present in each moment of my life – as candlelight spreading my light to other unlit candles.

    3. An open team where, if there must be a leader, one who seeks to discover each members strengths and focuses on those rather than their deficits. My relationship to the team would be one of contribution, collaboration, and co-operation. A team where egos are replaced by honesty, awareness and respect.

    4. Where more of us join together to assist the collective consciousness in raising awareness of what can be. For each one of us to practice awareness of the present and in so doing spend less time in fear and more time in love. In knowing that we are all creating our reality with each thought and action, and that through stillness we can connect with the universal love that will better guide our thoughts and actions.

  65. Michael says:

    1. I envision a world in which every human being has evolved to recognize their divinity beyond ego. In this world our differences do not create divisions and we come to the understanding that there is enough for everyone. In this world men embrace a new paradigm of masculinity that empowers them to become better husbands, better fathers and better men. As a result, we see the eradication of social ills like domestic abuse, high school dropouts, fatherlessness, high incarceration rates and corporate corruption. In this new world our education system works, our prisons are empty, our businesses flourish and our environment is natural and pristine. This is the world that I am committed to leaving to my children.

    2. To bring this world to fruition I have dedicated my life to empowering men to reach their full potential. Through my books, videos, lectures and radio program I am transforming the world one man at a time. http://www.coachmichaeltaylor.com

    3. I currently have a team of spiritually awake men who support me in my vision. Together we challenge each other to express our unique gifts and talents with the world. It is a group of emotionally and spiritually aware men who are committed to my mission of transforming the world one man at a time.

    4. I personally believe that the next great cultural shift on the planet is going to be a shift in male consciousness. I believe men are tired and frustrated with the current antiquated paradigm of masculinity and the Divine Impulse is now birthing a new paradigm in which men let go of their attachment to materialism, and begin embracing a deeper more meaningful experience of life. This is the shift that will change the world for the better and I am inviting men around the globe to join me in this new revolution. http://www.ancwm.com

  66. yvonne says:

What we NEED is a world where people are actually DOING something that will impact GLOBALLY.

Yes, I understand the importance of ‘being’…but it is just 1/2 of the answer…

NOW is the time to be taking ACTION

Yes,…lots of people are doing amazing things locally…but I questions what impact it is having on the global stage….we sure like to think globally…but our actions are NOT having a global impact.

In my opinion, we need an ELITE team….the kind of team that can attend G8/G20 summits….they kind of team that world leaders will listen too….consider their recommendations. Surely this is not a NEW idea??

Hello Ad, re: “No one is afraid of anything.”

Confusion may be prevalent but I submit many many people nowadays are really fearful and that anxiety and dread are a great part of the zeitgeist leading to a lot of the collective behavior. Look at the stock market, look at the financial situation of many elders and those threatened with being dispossesed. You may not be fearful yourself and I commend any who can keep their wits together and figure out how to go on instead of worrying.

        Best of luck! Aloha,

Hi Ad, re: “No one is afraid of anything.”

Yes, confusion is very prevalent but I submit that fear is very very much part of the current zeitgeist what with so many dreadful things coming at us everyday on the news. This fear is not only for what is happening abroad and far away to other folks, it reaches into the very homes of those struck with nature’s whims, into their investment portfolios, and their boys off fighting in battles facing improvised terrorist bombs. You are well to ward off fear and I commend any who manage to keep their wits and courage instead of worrying.

        Best regards, aloha,

It would be well to envision those things that you determine are importantly postive and then do things that will bring that vision into existence and perpetuation. Generalized abstact ideas are well and good but what’s needed are people who put their spirituality to work in concrete ways to create a better world and affirm the positive things we already enjoy.

I want my children, and my grandchildren, my families children
and my friends children and grandchildren to live in a world full of joy and peace, one in which there is awareness that we are all one in the end. One in which we all protect, love and uplift each other. A world where
the main goals for us all are to attain forgivennes
tolerance, acceptance, kindness, courage and true love.
In my perception for my role to help bring these about is by undoing the attack, judgment, pain and fear i feel and project most of the time.

the kind of team i would like to have is one of support
    safety,vision, truth and power.
The kidn of relationship i would like to have is one where. I give my faith and trust and each and everyone

The primary need that i see in our cultural moment

1.)I have grown to understand the world I want to live in is irrelevant to the Cosmos. Infinite Source has an agenda, a purpose. If we want to continue as a species we should find a way to commune with Nature’s purpose by engaging Nature’s integrated living language. That said I would love to live in a world that has fully transcending Ego’s artificial, dualistically based knowledge.

2.)I have devoted my entire adult life to the evolution of human consciousness. Three years ago, after saving enough money, I walked away from a lucrative career to write a book about our good friend, Ego. I figured if I could understand what sustains Ego, what feeds it energetically and what created this false sense of self, I could transcend egocentric consciousness. And if others were interested I could help them transcend Ego as well. I have discovered through vision and research that when we (I) understand Ego’s language and Ego’s purpose we begin to use Ego’s dualistically based communication technology with conscious intent. Our spiritual eyes are opened and the Cosmos begins to breathe us in…to consume us.

3.)I enjoy working with individuals who hold a clear, ego-free space. Individuals who deeply understand that infinite Source is working through humanity, using human language as a tool, to carry out a goal that we can understand only with a clear, fully integrated spiritually enlightened mind.

4.)What human culture needs today is wholeness…connection. For without wholeness we remain numb like cadavers trying to feel our feel way through a living universe.

  70. Stephanie Fisher says:

    1. I want to live in a world where all sentient beings are loved and appreciated for who they are…valued and loved members of our Integral Family of Earthlings. I want to live in a world where Mother Earth and her many gifts (some would call them resources) are valued and used to promote a healthy peaceful environment for all sentient beings. I want my children and grandchildren to live in a place where human beings believe that nurturing the environment and each other is as important as discovering the uniqueness that they are as manifestations of the Divine.

    2. My role is first to realize myself, and all “others”, as Divine Beings living an earthly existence. Once one begins to realize the potential and power inherent in this view of humanity, one desires nothing more than to actualize a more enlightened vision of Earth and it’s inhabitants, utilizing one’s uniqueness and myriad gifts.

    3. I am an active member of a spiritual community, a book club, a walking club, and our condominium association. I am also a Feng Shui Consultant, retired RN, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. As such I have many opportunities to realize and appreciate others and myself as manifestations of the Divine Oneness. My practice is to stay in the moment and to be present in my interactions with friends, family and clients. My desire is to live and act in conscious “beingness” not mindless “doingness”. I have found that to the extent that I am successful in being present, there is harmony in my life and relationships; I can more successfully meet my own needs and those of others; I can be inspired and inspire others; I can experience personal growth; and, I can activate “The Crone” (or wise elder woman) in myself and in other older women, (which is a part of the “divine feminine” principle). It is no linguistic accident that our planet is referred to as “Mother Earth”. It is the feminine role and instinct to nurture, grow, support and love unselfishly. It is the return of the divine feminine that is, without question, the primary need at this cultural moment in the Universe. I am inspired by the challenge existent in our troubled times and grateful to be alive at this seminal moment in history. Wishing all of mankind peace, love and wholeness.

    1. What kind of world do you want to live in and what kind of world do you want your children and grandchildren to live in?

    A. In a world where the level of conscientiousness of a large enough portion of the human population (10-20%?) has been raised to the point where enlightened (2nd Tier) leaders have been put in place. These utterly sane leaders will advance policies in harmony with principles of unity, sustainability, sharing and caring for all beings at all levels- nurturing not impeding cultural and spiritual evolution.
In a world that has been freed from the bondage of an innately unfair, demoralising and deeply destructive monetary system driven by the greed inducing laws of Capitalism.

    2. What is your role in bringing this about?
    A. To stay aware and awake; to diligently live by enlightened principles such as Compassion, Generosity, Truth and Goodness and be an example, or even role model, in my family and community. To help bring about the raising of conscientious and spiritual awareness by supporting authentic teachers in their quest to wake people up.

    3. Regarding the organizations that you’re part of, what kind of team do you want to have and what kind of relationship do you want to have with this team?
    A. A team that truly serves the universal good and is free from cancer of personal agendas fueled by the three poisons of Greed, Ignorance and Hatred. A team inspired and governed by the universal principles of truth, right intention, right action, mindfulnees and effort.
I would like to work within the team to find creative and enlightened solutions to the challenges of living in harmony with this most wondrous universe.

  72. David Wilson says:

1.The kind of world that I see is one that is born out of the realization as man & woman meet in the morning of each others unfoldment, in this, their now presence , and gaze into a drop of dew upon the petals of the red rose , wherein they see all the colors of creation in simplicities diamond.
And when they join together, let them humbly respect the spirit that creates through them, so that in life’s embraces, the little ones of the future may have a chance to grow strong. May they be ‘good ground’ to support the new roots, branches & leaves of the evolving new self. May the children dance bare foot , for the feet hunger to feel the living earth,as their hair flows with the winds and their hearts sing naturally the song of love that slept silently , awaiting to become and so , exist in a world of becoming. A world that respects the glimmer of life in all things.
A world where star light becomes living. A world where we no longer need to think about it, but rather gaze in appreciations wonder of being , which is effortless experience.

    2. I find myself seeking ( silently & within ) a more simple life ,a life of humble respect for the self that gives me insight and discernment. I do this not because I want to appear as a monk , but for the reason that this state of being gives me pleasure & wonder in seeing the reflection of self in all existence. I seek to be an authentic reflection of my moment of experience from which I create and exist from, reassuring the possibility to others that the authentic self is unfolding through us.

    3. As to the team, I am but one bird in the flock carried by the winds of spirit. I intuitively know my place and position in the changing /changelessness of the swarm ,whose intent is to fly into true knowing by not knowing, together we observe each other unfolding.

    4. How has all the information of this current moment, from the split second theory that gave raise to the big bang , to the extrapolations of the infinite universe, bring us in harmony with consciousness?
It speaks well of the intellects amazing ability to understand the principles of the workings of the universe enabling it to control space craft 2 billion miles from Earth , discovering the workings of D.N.A. and the engineering of genes. It is amazing to be able to calculate , with the creation of Super Computers, the estimates of a universe of billions of star galaxies that we exist in !
I exist currently , I am conscious, as we all are in this now ,with eyes wide open, observing the illusions & myths evaporate.
When I / We close our eyes we find ourselves existing in a body of feeling sensations, a mind of thought( our intellect) in a sea of consciousness of which we are a part.
This Earth is the place where every living thing has lived out its purpose. Species & generations of human kind have silently passed with few ever remembered or personally known by us.We exist because they were the purpose for us to be. And now we are for the future to be.
In that realization, I find gratitude and tears of appreciation to a spirit that I will only experience , never understand with my intellect.
I shall have the understanding of my intellect but live by the spirit of loves peace, so with the passing of my experience a new experience will become less fettered than mine.
” Generations come and generations pass , few stop to ask the meaning of why.
May my foot prints of my life be as in sand, easily washed away by the ever lasting sea.May my memory live in the hearts of those I have shared this life with , but let that memory be the memory of themselves.
And in life’s last breath, may I give it back with appreciation to the spirit that gave me first breath.May I have compassion for my intellects fear as I separate from it in those last moments for I know I must – to experience that which is unconceivable.
May the young of life’s nature feed upon my body giving back what I was given.May the winds play gentle harmony’s of love to the living with my bones as chimes in the morning. And after all that was given is given back in profound ,self aware appreciation ,may my / your consciousness fully awaken in the consciousness of the creator.

      Yes, let’s hope that’s true.
What’s worrisome now is that humans are proliferating with attendant poluting. The growth of the carbon footprint is disturbing and is likely to continue it’s growth.

Depending on Enlightened Lives to turn things around is of course crucial but can we really count on that? I guess when things become so untenable it will dictate that shift in human behavior or be drastically negatively affected.

Reaching the young minds of tomorrow’s generation.

Concern for the problems our children will inherit has caused me to write an exciting trilogy, the first book of which has recently been published by a small British publisher. The many millions of youngsters reached by the Harry Potter series has shown that they will respond to a thrilling tale.

While “Tomorrow`s Children” and its sequels are also targeted at the young readers of today, my purpose is somewhat different. While seeking to produce a continually exciting storyline, my prime intention is to arouse the reader`s interest in a number of areas, particularly the need for tolerance towards our fellow humans, the fundamental spiritual nature of our being and how to become more aware of this.

If we are to really make the critical difference so vitally required, we must include the youngsters of today.

Set some centuries ahead the books portray a more peaceful, less crowded and polluted world where human kind lives in harmony with our planet. Set within an exciting tale, the books seek to present a target, a direction, at which tomorrow`s youngsters should aim.

The series is aimed at a maturing audience, from the 12-13 age group (Book One) to 14-15 age group (Book Two) to young adults in the third volume.

It is my hope that several of the groups and organisations with similar aims, from the various ‘green’ organisations to departments of the United Nations anxious to promote tolerance, world peace, greater spiritual awareness, might assist in promoting these books..

The first book in the trilogy,”Tomorrow’s Children” (by J T Wheeling) can be downloaded from Black Leaf Publisher’s web site, or it is available from Amazon or Waterstones.

A WORLD WITHOUT ‘MY’ OR ‘YOUR’ CHILDREN/GRAND- CHILDREN – I MEAN A WORLD WTHOUT ‘FAMILY’ WHERE ‘MINE’/'YOURS’ IS FIRST TAUGHT.

    2. What is your role in bringing this about?
SINCE IMPOSING ANYTHING LEADS TO CHAOS, I CAN ONLY SHARE MY VIEWS – EVERY INDIVIDUAL SHOULD DECIDE WHETHER SUCH A WORLD WOULD BE BETTER.

    3. Regarding the organizations that you’re part of, what kind of team do you want to have and what kind of relationship do you want to have with this team?

THESE QUESTION ARE REFORMATIVE – I AM TALKING ABOUT A REVOLUTION. HOWEVER, IN THE NEW WORLD CO-OPERATION WOULD BE AUTOMATIC AS THERE WOULD BE NO MINE/YOURS.

    4. What do you see as the primary need in our current cultural moment?
    NOT TO IMPOSE ANYTHING.

  82. 1. I already have a child and a grandchild my will is for the peoples of this planet to know who and what they really are and to be That. My own version of Know Thyself is as follows:
    KNOW THYSELF
To know oneself as infinite in essence and at the same time as the infinite expressed in the finite. To establish unity between the infinite (universal) and finite (individual)
To discover the motivating force of the Universe and the ends to which it moves.
Finally to find the ways and means of living, in by and by That alone. This is the supreme joy and justification of human existence. The above appeared in my first book.
    2. My Role of ‘how’ to bring this about is covered in my upcoming book. Plus I have a need to walk my talk by being who and what I really am.
    3. I do not have a team as as yet but intend to begin social networking via the internet.
    4. The primary need is for those who are able and willing to play their part in promoting the evolution of consciousness, which is after all, the True destiny of humanity. People need to be inspired and uplifted and excited.
The following are my own words of inspiration.
    THE AMAZING GRACE
All that I am say and do is for the pleasure of the Universal Conscious Force who experiences life through me,one of its individualised forms, with the intention that those experiences be ones of love joy happiness and abundance.
The intention is not that I struggle alone in this wonderful and great endeavour. I am to invoke the grace of this supreme force, in all things great and small, with complete faith that what I ask for will be given. This amazing grace is available to all for the asking and their power is limitless who ask with confidence faith and expectancy.

It would be so great if humans did realize the universal right for all people to be able to pursue the human rights guaranteed by the Charter for Human Rights but that seems still seems a goal to be resolved.

Killing others should be universally realized as a prime violation of the human right to life and safety. Actions that deliberately harm others would be universally sanctioned and met with severe disapproval.

The right to pursue happiness in whatever way deemed important would be an ideal greatly to be observed and to impede that would be something no one should do or tolerate. Of course we expect no actions should be made to deliberately hurt others, even other sentient creatures.

  86. Hello Frank,

I completely agree with you one you are saying:

“Confusion may be prevalent but I submit many many people nowadays are really fearful and that anxiety and dread are a great part of the zeitgeist leading to a lot of the collective behavior.”

I was already doubting when I wrote:

“No one is afraid of anything.”

However, given the context I assumed that the question:

“What is everyone so afraid off?”

    actually ment:

“What is everyone so afraid off TO DO?”

When I speak for my self, then I must say that I am very afraid to speak openly in public (TV etc.). To be publicly known seems very harsh to me.

But before you are ‘afraid of something to do’ you must firstly ‘know what to do’ and I think, that that is the spreading of the idea of Lottocracy, although even Lottocracy is not a safeguard per sé, see Tao Stoic 17 at

    http://www.socsci.ru.nl/~advdv/taostoa/

Especially take notice of the last sentence.

It was a pleasure to heer from you, Ad.

    • Frank Luke says:

Hello again Ad, re: your response

I’m glad you clarified your statement and heartily agree about people afraid to do something rather than worry. I can sympathize with inaction in confusion but attempting to do something is the way out of that inconvenient discomfort.

As I know, when confused I do nothing except mull on the options. At some point I become resigned to my not being helpful and let things ride. If the problem accentuates then I’m forced to take action which may or may not resolve the matter but I tried.

Are you familiar with Buddha’s precept: First comes right thought, then right action. Easier to say than do but good advice, no?

Best regards, TY for your response.

      Aloha, namaste!

    1. I want to live in a world where we have evolved to a state of being whereby none of our self-limited stories – whether individual, societal, country-based or worldwide are required or used for our existence. Then we can engage the intended bliss of conscious existence in every successive moment of the present as one being in this energy broth of life and of love.
2.My role is ever-changing, continually morphing as a ripple effect of the one, therefore, it has already begun and will continue with the perfection of my micro-reconnection back to the one. As I sit here, and electro-magnet energy causes me to strike these keys with my 10 fingers, I am fulfilling ‘my’ role in this present moment in bringing this thought to the point of physical/present-moment manifestation. And even though the preceding sentence is now considered to be our “past” it still had a part to play in the evolution similarly to this sentence or the sentences and words of everyone in this blog, or anyone that have ever heard or answered that question, or that have and will ever exist.
    3. The organization I am a part of, TRI Factor solutions, IS the direct answer to this question. Our name ‘TRI’ comes from our first names Tim, Ryan and Ian and we believe that the point of manifestation of our company came after each of our parents decided to name us – 3 events that occurred in different time-frames but that is connected to every other event that has or will ever occur. As such, I want our organization to experience the point of manifestation of touching lives and beings all over the world, and for generations to come and having the means to do so effortlessly – as is our innate nature. Amazingly, the Syncrodestiny thought just settled for a moment in my existence of the possibility that the creation of our company by the three of us is in direct correlation with the event that cause Deepak to make this question number 3. This is another sign that we are all one, expressing ourselves in connectivity with everyone else.
    4. A realization that this moment is beautiful and perfect and our current cultural moment is exactly where it needs to be – just like the big bang was exactly what it was to facilitate us being here. However, the second component of the big bang is that it is, for lack of a better word, continuous. With every moment that bubble-pops from that moment of creation (manifestation), engaging the present moment the same way the universe does, is the primary need of our movement. That is, the understanding that every breath and heart beat contains the energy and subsequently, the inspiration that individuals like Deepak, Andrew and many others have engaged and are fulfilling as current components of our cultural movement. I submit this with Love…. Tim.

  88. My belief resonates with the teachings of Sri Aurobindo, (1951) a philosopher and mystic who advised that the descent of Divine consciousness into corporeal matter is just as necessary as the evolution of consciousness. Aurobindo said:”All advances in human consciousness must first be manifest in a living human form, else there would be no way really of knowing what is to come. This expresses the principle of the avatar, a descent of a particular principle into human form so it may be exemplified to humanity at large.”

Likewise, Carl G. Jung described most people as being suspended in the air as if they have not ever formed a connection with the earth. “Now it is most important that you should be born; you ought to come into the world—otherwise you cannot realize the Self, and the purpose of this world has been missed. Then you must simply be thrown back into the melting pot and be born again” (Jung, 1996, p. 29).

It is my goal that I make roots in this world and leave my mark in the ground in order that the collective be notified that I have in fact been here. “You see, the shoot must come out of the ground, and if the personal spark has never gotten into the ground, nothing will come out of it” (Jung, 1996, p. 28).

It is my intention to maximize this rare and precious gift of human incarnation (Buddha) so that I might advance my consciousness, earn karmic merit, transmute karmic debt, and participate in the teleological dance of the whole of cosmic existence itself.

My function is to contribute to the resacralization of human existence and encourage the “tipping point” toward a new renaissance of ontology in science, religion, philosophy, the family, business, relationships, politics, art, music, etc…

It is my great joy to teach my children through example.

  89. 1. What kind of world do you want to live in?

A world based on what I call the Three C’s (3 being symbolic of the trinity).

    a) Conscious
    b) Collaborative
    c) Cooperative

    2. What is your role in bringing this about?

My role in this has been playing out for the last 15 years as a doctor and healer in the field of Oriental Medicine (acupuncture, herbs & nutrition). A medicine, I might add, which is under recognized and publicized for its abilities to encourage and facilitate raising consciousness(esoteric acupuncture), dis-ease prevention and reversing illness.

Ushering in a conscious world requires (to keep it simple),each and every individual to “get healthy,” in mind, body and spirit. Does anyone know of another way that can have profound effects in all 3 areas (other than Oriental Medicine)? One might say, meditation…YES, (also apart of Oriental Medicine) another, I will add, Qi Gong (also O.M.).

    3. What kind of team do I want to lead?

A team of Holistic Medicine Evolutionaries. I want to be apart of creating such a team, a collaboration, with this group and lead them out into the world as teachers and healers.

    4. What do you see as the primary need in our current cultural moment?

A movement (as in #3)to bring awareness to the profound benefits Oriental Medicine can on fostering a new world.
